Digging for Worms

While we were in DC, we had a chance to visit with the Grants, very good family friends.  While we were outside taking pictures, Colin started "digging for worms" and asked Mrs. Grant to help.  Based on the smile upon her face, I think this request made her day.

Gamble Plantation

These pictures are from a few months ago, but I am just getting to sharing them.  The grounds were a beautiful place to take photographs.  I can't say that anyone was cooperative while taking the pictures, but some cute ones were to be found despite the unhappiness of being made to sit for photos!

Meet Patrick

A few weeks ago, we were so lucky to be able to meet the newest member of our family!  Mr. Patrick was born in May and was happily welcomed by two older sisters.  We are so thankful to have these photos before they move on to their next adventure!

The Playground

I love how they get so excited to play on the playground, thinking they will swing and slide and run around, only to find out the most exciting part is to collect the stones and put them through the platform holes.

Waiting

When you're three and one, it's hard to wait for anything, especially a plane.  They were doubly disappointed when they realized their plane hadn't arrived yet.

Reading with Grandma

I just love the expressions on her face when she reads to herself and with other people.  I would love to know what she is telling or asking Grandma in the first picture.
