In June, we made our way to Blowing Rock for the third year in a row. It is refreshing to get out of the Florida humidity and breathe in clean mountain air. The day we visited Grandfather Mountain, it was very overcast and you really couldn't see but a few yards in front of you. No vast mountain views on this day.
