I wrote a few photography goals for 2015, most of which will be attainable. But one of them was a very loft goal: 365 selfies of the kids with ME in the picture. I have found that I am in so few pictures with my kids. I am the one usually taking the pictures. And as I look through Facebook and listen to other moms, they voice the same concern. I started the year off "great". January 1, captured! January 2... failed. I thought my kids would be more excited about using the iPhone to take selfies, but not so much. It became a lot more work than I thought it would be, so I revised the goal to try to take at least 10 selfies a month. In January and February, I was able to do that. While March isn't over yet, I have only taken 4. The one below is one of my favorites so far. It's not from my iPhone, but from my camera set up on a tripod. They are more interested in playing with the tripod than being in the picture. However hard it is, I will persevere until I become so frustrated and tired from wrangling in the little ones for a picture that I super glue a camera to my husband's hand. I will update my progress with this project later in the year!
